About Us

The Solar Grazing Health Initiative is supported by a team of experienced professionals, including:
  • Doug Edge – RSG Foundation Director, sheep producer, Solar Grazing Management Certified by the American Solar Grazing Association
  • Dr. Tad Thompson – Internationally recognized small ruminant veterinarian and co-founder of RSG
  • Dr. Scott Flanagan – Sheep producer and practicing veterinarian leading the RSG center in Ballinger, Texas
  • Clay Elliott – PhD in small ruminant reproduction/ nutrition
  • Blair Standish – Client Relations Lead, with expertise in nutrition and logistics.
Our work is supported by industry sponsorships and guided by a commitment to animal health and land stewardship. Every dollar generated directly supports the long-term success of producers and the mission of the RSG Foundation.

Together, we’re building a healthier, more sustainable solar grazing ecosystem—where sheep and solar thrive side by side.
